ESB SISTEMAS ESPAÑA S.L. reinforces its position as a benchmark company in the global telecommunications sector with the incorporation of its second family generation into the company’s management.
The Aguiriano family began its activity in the telecommunications sector in the 1960s, with the foundation of Nyako by Mr. Ángel Aguiriano Martínez, a telecommunications specialist from the Military Academy of Málaga (Spain). Nyako was a pioneer in the development and manufacturing of television reception solutions, equipping a large part of Spanish households with antennas and amplifiers.
In the 1990s, his eldest son, Ángel Aguiriano Sorribes, drove the evolution of the company towards professional solutions for the satellite market, establishing a solid alliance with the Kathrein Group and founding ESB SISTEMAS S.L.. Under his leadership, the company participated in the deployment of the first and most powerful cable networks nationwide. At the same time, Manuel Aguiriano Sorribes oriented the company’s activity towards the emerging mobile networks market, making ESB a pioneer in the development of the first GSM networks and in critical communications in Spain.
From 2005 onwards, the second generation took the lead. Ángel Luis Aguiriano strengthened the cellular telephony division at the national level and initiated the company’s internationalization through the manufacturing and commercialization of camouflaged antennas in different markets. In 2008, Alfonso Aguiriano consolidated ESB’s product strategy, expanding the company’s portfolio of solutions and positioning ESB asa global reference vendor.
We are pleased to announce that, as of July 2025, ESB will officially be led by the second generation, headed by Ángel Luis and Alfonso Aguiriano, with the aim of consolidating the company’s trajectory and successfully addressing the new challenges of the market.
